Val and I made the decision to build and move into Meander Cottages over twelve years ago and we never regretted it. We are very happy and enjoy the independent lifestyle whilst being in a friendly community. There are opportunities to join in activities in the excellent Community Centre if you wish and new ideas are always welcome. The Village is well managed and we wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

After five years here, we feel very lucky to be part of the Meander community. With local ownership and management, who also feel part of the community, we are assured a safe, secure and friendly environment. What else could we ask for in our retirement than the comfortable, well-built home we have and the opportunity to maintain our passion for gardening.

Just over seven and a half years ago we sold our house and decided to move to Meander Cottages. The timing was great as we would not have been able to choose a particular block or the wonderful house that we have now. The time frame for the build was on schedule. A huge thank you to everyone involved that helped it all work for us. It has been a wonderful experience for both of us and are looking forward to many happy years ahead.

We have lived in the Meander community now for five years and love the safe and friendly environment. We are centrally located, close to medical facilities and shops. The area is economically favourable, and owned and managed by local people. We highly recommend this establishment as a great place to retire.

We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have found our own little ‘slice of paradise’ at Meander Cottages. Our move to the Fleurieu region has definitely enhanced our lives and we couldn’t be happier.
